Step-by-step procedure

Section actions
  1. 1Start with the nearest France Services. The advisors help for online procedures and CPAM files free of charge.
  2. 2For a specific question about your rights, call CPAM at 36 46. The service is not overtaxed: you only pay the possible cost of your call.
  3. 3If your resources are low, ask for the Solidarity Health Supplement (SHC). It can be free of charge or request a small participation based on your income.
  4. 4If you need help filling out a simple file, the CCAS of your town hall can also accompany you for free.
  5. 5Do not wait if you think you are eligible for CSS. Once the complete file is received, the CPAM has up to 2 months to respond.
