Background

MaPrimeRenov' is a state aid dedicated to the energy renovation of housing. It consists of two main routes: the Parcours par gite for one or more insulation, ventilation or heating works, and the Parcours accompanied for a major renovation. A third route exists for condominiums, covering the common parts and the works of collective interest in private parts. The assistance is available to owners, whether they occupy the accommodation or rent it.

Why it's important

If you are considering a large-scale renovation in a single house by maintaining gas heating, you will no longer be eligible for assistance after September 1, 2026. The Government indicates that this measure is intended to prioritize projects that would enable fossil fuels to be released and to avoid financing renovations that now depend on gas from households, which are exposed to future price variations. This criterion must therefore be anticipated in the design of your project.
