1. Start with needs
Describe the daily difficulties in the department. The APA is based on an assessment of the loss of autonomy; age alone is not enough.
2. Organisation of aid
Discuss services at home, family, accommodation and temporary replacement of caregiver. Check covered expenses and remain dependent.
3. Check the rights of the caregiver
Caregiver leave and compensation are determined separately. Consult with the employer and CAF/MSA before changing your business.
